About

“There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others.” ~ Mandy Hale

In November of 2012, 15-year-old gymnast, Jacoby Miles, was paralyzed after landing on her neck during a routine dismount off of the uneven parallel bars. Her life would never be the same as someone living with quadriplegia.

She could have decided that life was unfair and lived a bitter and angry life. Instead, she finds joy in making life more beautiful for others! She believes life can have meaning, purpose, hope, and beauty in the midst of hardship.

Jacoby’s firm faith and belief in providence gave birth to the Annual Run 4 Miles back in 2013, which has continued each year since then.

We invite you, yes, YOU to join in Jacoby’s journey as she seeks to encourage and help others in their fight against catastrophic illness and injury!
